Important Message from Frank
Welcome to another Thursday UNFILTERED substack article, the only substack newsletter that wonders why there isn’t a mosquito that sucks fat.
Some of you asked about this. I hope to send the manuscript for the Revised & Expanded edition of The Untold Story of the New Testament Church to the publisher by early March. The last scholar has gone through it, and now I’m making final adjustments.
This means that the book could be published in 2025.
If you’re new to my email list, DO NOT buy the old version. If you have a copy of the old one, toss it in the trash. The new one is 200x better, more comprehensive, and more accurate. It’s like comparing a high school paper (the old edition) to a PhD dissertation that’s been peer reviewed (the new edition).
Last week, I wrote a fresh article on discernment that I was planning to share with you today. But it will have to wait until next Thursday.
The reason? Substantial changes have been made to our email service. Before those changes, the last five articles we sent weren’t seen by half of you.
But we’ve been informed that beginning today, you should see our emails every Thursday in your inbox. Just make sure frank@frankviola.com is in your address/contact list. (If you don’t see an email on a given Thursday, check all your folders. Spam, Junk, and “Promotions” are the worst folders for capturing valuable emails.)
So before I send you the new article on discernment, I want to make sure you received the last five articles.
By the way, the article on the fear of God generated lots of email responses, all positive. The last five article titles are:
The Fear of God vs. His Limitless Grace
Can Christians Learn from the World?
Goosebumps, Chills, Shivers, Tears
What is the Church, Really?
An Unforgettable Conference
Just go to my site – frankviola.org – and scroll down to read the articles. They are linked on the front page.
If you are using a computer, you’ll see them on the left when you scroll down.
If you are using a phone, scroll down and you’ll see them under LATEST ARTICLES.
Comments are open beneath each article, so you can share your reactions and impressions if you like.
I hope these articles bless you as they have others.
Until next Thursday,
Your brother,
fv
